Windjana Gorge, Tunnel Creek and Bells Gorge

*Large 4WD needed for this itinerary:

Day 1: Broome to Tunnel Creek via the highway. (5-hour drive)
Allow 2-3 hours for the walk through Tunnel Creek.
Carry on to Windjana Gorge to camp for the night (35 min drive)

Day 2: Wake early and explore Windjana Gorge, check out the freshwater crocodiles and hear the story of Jandamarra.
Travel north to the Gibb River Road and drive to Bells Gorge, camping at Silent Grove for the night. (2hour 15m drive)

Day 3: Wake early and explore Bells Gorge.
Allow 1-3 hours for the walk.
Return to Broome via Derby (4 hour drive)
Stop to see the Boab Prison Tree.

Explore the Dampier Penninsula

A large 4WD is required for this itinerary.

Day 1 - Broome to Middle Lagoon via Beagle Bay

Drive up the Cape Leveque road and stop over in Beagle Bay (1hour 45m drive). See the famous Church of the sacred Heart, with Pearl Shell embedded in the walls.

Continue on your journey to Middle lagoon, just 55 mins away. Check into your accommodation and then spend the day at the swimming beach and snorkeling lagoon.

Finish the day by taking in the stunning sunset.


DAY 2 - Cygnet Bay Experience

Depart Middle Lagoon and head to the Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm (1 hour and 30m drive). Once you arrive at the Pearl Farm, check in and book one of their excellent pearl farm tours. The tours run for approx 2 hours and ecompass all aspects of Australias oldest Pearl Farm.

If you are up for some adventure, why not take one of their exciting fast boat tours through the islands of King Sound to see the Giant Tides or Waterfall Reef

Enjoy the tropical surrounds, relax in the infinity pool and dine at their new and exciting restaurant

Spend the night in one of their newly renovated safari tents or pearlers cabins.


DAY 3 - Cygnet Bay back to Broome via One Arm Point

Depart the Pearl Farm and head North to the tip of the Dampier Penninsula, at One Arm Point. Here you can visit the Trochus Hatchery and Fish farm and learn about the local sea creatures that inhabit the area. Tours operate throughout the day and you may even get a chance to hand feed a barra! 

After taking in the view at One Arm Point, the drive back to Broome takes 2 hours and 35 minutes along Cape Leveque Road.
